The Luke Coat is a beautiful, premium silk christening gown coat designed to be worn over our matching Luke romper.   • Sizing & Fit: Our coats are purposefully designed and tailored slightly larger than our gowns, dresses, and rompers to ensure they fit comfortably and drape beautifully over the base outfit.

  • Cleaning: To protect the delicate silk fabric and structure, we strictly recommend Dry Clean Only.
  • Authentic Silk: Because silk is a natural fibre, certain slight irregularities or variations in the weave or shade may naturally occur. These are characteristic hallmarks of authentic silk and add to the unique beauty of each bespoke garment.

 

Delivery

Check our banner at the top of the page for current lead times. Lead times are for gowns, rompers and dresses. Individual accessories are usually made within a few days. Please ask if you need it sooner and we'll do our best to accommodate.

Care Instructions

Care

  • To keep your garment looking it's best for many years we highly recommend dry-cleaning all of our items as soon as possible after wear.
  • We don't recommend using water to clean any of our silk items as it will affect the colour and texture of the material, as well as cause the material to lose its natural sheen
  • If you choose to hand wash your cotton items, use a very mild detergent and rinse items well. Keep in mind that water, heat and detergents can affect the shape, texture and colour of the items and materials. Hang garments to dry, but avoid direct sunlight as this can discolour the materials
